About us

wakewood_home_grant_wakefield_bio+cv_small.jpg_640x360 Grant Wakefield is a cameraman and editor who trained at the Northern School of Film & TV. He has worked worldwide on documentaries, educational, corporate, music promos and features, in all formats from Super 8mm to 70mm, C-VHS to 4k.

Amongst his many clients and broadcast credits have been the BBC, NIKE, WGBH, AVIVA, NBC NEWS, OPEN UNIVERSITY, CBC and CHANNEL 4. He has photographed, directed, produced and edited music promos and tour films for artists as diverse as PORCUPINE TREE, ORBITAL, TIM BOWNESS, LISA GERRARD, BANCO DE GAIA and TANGERINE DREAM.

Most recently he wrote, directed, photographed, edited and produced two large format documentary films – ANCIENT SKIES (4k) and REMNANTS (2k) – for one of the world’s leading ‘FullDome’ planetarium companies SKY-SKAN GmbH.

Mike Greenwood is a producer, executive producer, writer and presenter of award-winning television, radio and on-line content.

He was the chief producer of RADIO 4’s KALEIDOSCOPE, founding editor of RADIO 3’s NIGHTWAVES, is a former winner of the BP ARTS JOURNALISM award, and a producer of BBC 2’s THE LATE SHOW television arts series.

As Commissioning Executive for the BBC’s EDUCATION FOR ADULTS department he commissioned a large range of TV and radio output and led high-profile, targeted social action campaigns including STUDENT CHOICE, which won three consecutive ROYAL TELEVISION SOCIETY awards.

He was Project Director of the BBC’s HISTORY 2000 initiative, which included popular landmarks such as SIMON SCHAMA’s HISTORY OF BRITAIN, and was editor of BBC Radio 4’s long-running series MAKING HISTORY.
